This is a first year Mechanical Engineeirng course that was co-instructed with Dr. Peter Teertstra.  My portion of the course focussed on procedural and event-driven programming skills.  By the end of the course, students demonstrated their abilities to:

• Solve software design problems at an introductory level using a procedural approach
• Utilize existing software tools to perform typical engineering computations
• Design and implement event-driven software solutions within a mechanical engineering problem requiring automation
• Evaluate and select appropriate data storage and function layout for a given software problem
