The topics that will be covered in the lectures will include (and depending on time may not be limited to): Classification of metamorphic rocks, structures and textures of metamorphic rocks, stable mineral assemblages in metamorphic rocks, metamorphic facies and zones, metamorphic reactions and thermodynamics, metamorphic fluids, and the relationship between metamorphic processes and tectonic environments.
