What is happening to UWaterloo Scholar?
UW Scholar will reach its end-of-life on April 30, 2026. After this date, both access to the platform and all site content will no longer be available.
UW Scholar continues to experience platform instability. We strongly recommend saving copies of your site’s content as soon as possible to ensure you retain a backup in the event of a permanent platform failure before the date of decommission.
- In Chrome/Edge/Firefox browsers on Windows or MacOS, right-click the page > Save as/Save page as to a location for offline viewing
- In Safari browser on MacOS, go to File > Save As and select Format “Web Archive” which will save the full content to your specified location for offline viewing
