Dynamic Modeling of MAPNA Co. Combined-Cycle Power Plants in Integrated Markets for Energy and Ancillary Services

Sep 2013 – Sep 2013

This project studies the efficiency and economics of provision of energy and ancillary services by MAPNA Co. Combined-Cycle power plants and derives equations for optimal bidding for and valuation of those units operating in simultaneous markets for energy and ancillary services in multi-zone Iranian power grid.

Optimal Dispatch of Hydro Power Units in Energy and Ancillary Services Markets

2013 – 2013

For a stable supply of electricity power plants are required to provide ancillary services in addition to energy production. In this project a framework for optimal bidding strategy has been suggested for hydroelectric units operating in markets where both energy and ancillary services are priced simultaneously.

Pilot AMI system design & development for direct load control

Mar 2012 – Mar 2012

Design and development of a pilot AMI system for monitoring and load control (on/off) of a micro-grid via sms/mobile and wifi/internet. The monitoring and control interface is LabView. This mini AMI project is intended for R&D projects for the ECE students at UT to develop and test monitoring/estimation/identification/prediction/control/energy management algorithms on a real micro-grid with an advanced AMI system. It has the capability to control 9 single-phase and 2 three-phase loads instantly using secure IT/ICT media.

Image Processing & Software development in Photocore

2014-2016

PhotoCore develops software tools and offers solutions for vision-based 3D measurement applications for Geodetic, Photogrammetric and Videogrammetric applications. PhotoCore provides customized systems and solutions with different terrestrial sensors such as frame array and panoramic cameras.

Reverse Engineering & Software development

2013-2014

The conversion of assembly code to C++ makes a system to redesign the old fashion processors. To do this, all assembly code in x86 and PPC should be programmed automatically to convert to semi-code of C++.
