New article recently published to Echohydrology by recent Hyromet M.Sc (2017) graduate Tristan Gingras-Hill et al. This work largely focussed on the work Tristan completed for his M.Sc degree with contributions from other Hydromet researchers Rich Petrone and Felix Nwaishi and Department of Geography professors Johnathan Price and Merrin Macrae.

• Our work on modelling and predicting Spatially Spreading Processes, in this case Forest Wildfires, using raw image data. Both these papers highlight different components of our approach of using Reinforcement Learning to automatically learn agent-based models of fire spreading on a landscape from readily avaialble satellite and weather data. the first paper builds on out work from RLDM last year.
