Bio

I am pursuing my PhD at the department of Geography and environmental management, University of Waterloo. Conducting my master research in Remote Sensing-Geomatics engineering I settled into GIS, Remote sensing and hydrology. Afterwards, I worked in an AreoSpace Research Institute focusing on remote sensing and spatial data analysis in different environmental projects.

The expertise I gained from my current PhD research includes applying a physical emission model via airborne/spaceborne radiometry to retrieve snow properties as well as inverse modeling in a Bayesian statistical approach. Years of research experience in geospatial sciences and more specifically in Remote Sensing, makes me more excited to learn about applied geoscience and I become more interested to share my knowledge as I grow in this field.
