Chen Tao
Chen Tao received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering in 2013 from China University of Geosciences (Beijing). She then completed her Master’s from the same university working on biological nitrogen removal. In 2016, she obtained another Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo with research work on sustainable energy. Chen started her PhD studies with Prof. Parker in 2017 and her work focuses on membrane fouling characterization and modelling in tertiary treatment under stressed operating conditions. In her leisure time, Chen loves baking, hiking and playing with her dog.
