Khanh completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo studying honours kinesiology. Khanh completed his MSc in the Tupling lab in 2015. His MSc thesis focused on oxidative stress and how it alters the function of the sarco(endo)plasmic reticulum Ca
2+ ATPase (SERCA) pump. In particular, how secondary lipid radicals produced from oxidative stress modulate SERCA pump activity. Khanh then pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at York University - Schulich School of Business.
