Eric completed his undergraduate, MSc and PhD at the University of Waterloo in Kinesiology. He completed his Msc and PhD under the supervision of Professor Howie Green. His research focus was on the role of calcium handling in muscle myopathies, obesity and muscle regeneration. Eric moved on to be a post-doctoral fellow and lab manager for our lab up until 2017 and now works at the University of McMaster.

Dan’s research interests surround the role skeletal muscle plays in contributing to overall metabolic health. Dan completed his undergraduate degree in biology (Hons) at Western University, and an MSc at the University of Waterloo (kinesiology). Dan's Phd in Dr. Tupling's lab addressed how the energy used by the skeletal muscle Ca2+ pump affects energy balance, weight gain and adiposity. After the completion of his PhD, Dan went onto do post-doctoral research at the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute.

Khanh completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo studying honours kinesiology. Khanh completed his MSc in the Tupling lab in 2015. His MSc thesis focused on oxidative stress and how it alters the function of the sarco(endo)plasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase (SERCA) pump.

Riley completed his undergraduate degree in honours kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in 2015 while playing for the men’s varsity hockey team. In 2017, Riley completed his MSc in the Tupling lab focused on ketone supplementation and performance in male athletes.

Bradley started volunteering in our lab in 2014 and has since become an exceptional young researcher. While working in our lab, Bradley received two NSERC - Undergraduate Student Research Awards and a CIHR - Undergradate Summer Studentship Award. As well, Bradley completed a fourth year undergraduate project which focuses on a potential therapeutic strategy for centronuclear myopathy.
