Undergraduate Study Spaces
SE has 2 undergraduate labs that are located in DC 2577 for 1st and 2nd year students and DC 2567 for 3rd and 4th year students. These are terrific facilities for studying and student meetings, and it is available 24 hours a day exclusively for students in the SE program.
These rooms have Wi-fi access, power outlets and screens. They are also equipped with tables and chairs which allow our students to hold group project meetings and discussions.
We also have a lounge in EIT 3146 that includes a meeting booth, a fridge, microwave, tables and chairs. Students use this space for lunch/dinner or simply a less formal place to ‘hangout”.
SE Student Society
The SE Student Society represents the SE students as a whole, and organizes inter-cohort activities.
The Society has a role that is complementary to MathSoc and EngSoc, which represent students at the Faculty level, and to class reps, who represent individual cohorts, and to WUSA, which represents students at the university level.
