20 year old male arrested for BB incidents in Waterloo’s University district
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Officers of the Waterloo Regional Police General Investigations Branch have arrested and charged a 20 year old male in connection with the BB/Pellet gun incidents in early September 2015.
On September 7, 2015, there were 3 incidents where pedestrians walking on King Street North in the city of Waterloo were struck with pellets fired from a pellet pistol. Details of the incidents are as follows:
- At 1:00 a.m., a 19 year old female was struck with a pellet in the collarbone area causing minor injury.
- At 2:00 a.m., a 19 year old female was struck with a pellet in the wrist causing minor injury.
- At 5:30 p.m., a 19 year old female was struck in the eye with a pellet causing serious injury. She remains under medical care, continually accessing her eye injury.

court
later
today
to
face
two
counts
of
Assault
with
a
Weapon,
Possession
of
a
Weapon
Dangerous
to
the
Public
and
Aggravated
Assault.
