If you see or are dealing with an emotionally upset or distraught person:
Refer, send, take the person to Counselling Services. Contact Counselling Services to inform them you are coming and explain the circumstances.
Based on the situation, Counselling Services will see the person as soon as possible and connect with whatever other resources are appropriate. Based on the situation, a representative from Counselling Services may attend your location.
With the person’s permission, Counselling Services may inform you of the result or for additional information.
