Robbery

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is looking for assistance from the University of Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier University student population in the investigation of a robbery in the area of both universities.

On January 9, 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a female Waterloo resident was walking in the area of King Street North and Columbia Street East when an unknown male grabbed her face and demanded her purse. The male looked through her purse but did not take anything.

The subject then fled running westbound on Columbia Street. Police checked the area however the male suspect was not located.

Male described as: White 5'10, fair complexion, wearing a black puffy winter jacket, dark jeans and gloves, with crooked teeth.
