On the evening of September 17 between 10 pm and 10:30 pm a female student was walking through the west cul de sac between Village 1 and Mackenzie King Village. The student was seriously assaulted by two males who then fled. We remind students to be aware of their personal safety and when possible walk with others. Police have increased patrols in the area of the residences.
This ongoing investigation is being led by Waterloo Regional Police supported by the University of Waterloo Police. We will keep the campus apprised as additional information becomes available.
