Kelly Ramsay (BSc (Statistics and Actuarial Science), 2016, University of Manitoba, MSc (Statistics), 2018, University of Manitoba, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2022, University of Waterloo) will be joining the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University in July as an Assistant Professor.

Kelly Ramsay was a consultant at the SCCRU between 2019 - 2022. During her term of service, she provided statistics advice to over 100 researchers at the statistics help desk. She also authored a chapter about non-parametric statistics in the Topics of Statistical Consulting that serves as a reference for future consultants and researchers with minimal statistics background.

As a consultant, Kelly also participated in a large-scale web scrapping project led by Dr. David Hammond from the School of Public Health.  They are anticipating publication from this long-term interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are excited to see Kelly embark on a new journey. Congratulations Dr. Ramsay!

Kelly is extremely knowledgeable and extraordinarily helpful! Her advice has definitely helped open new analytical avenues in my research.
