Introductory Statistics with R

In this workshop, participants will learn to perform common statistics using the R software. Topics covered in this workshop include:

• A review of descriptive statistics
• Contingency tables
• Fundamentals of hypothesis tests
• T-tests
• Analysis of Variance
• Linear Regression

This in-person workshop will be held at M3 3103. The workshop includes a lot of hands-on practice. Participants are required to bring their laptops/devices with R and RStudio already downloaded and installed.

Registration  is free to all students, faculty and staff at the University of Waterloo. Participants with no programming background are encouraged to go over the basics of R first.
