R for Beginners: Your Data Adventure Begins

Join us for an introductory workshop to R, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of this powerful open-source language.

This hands-on session will cover:

• Navigating RStudio panels
• Utilizing help tools
• Importing and exporting data
• Managing and manipulating data
• Performing descriptive statistics
• Creating graphs with the base package
• Installing and loading R libraries

This in-person workshop will take place at DC 1568 and includes practical exercises. Please bring your laptop or device with R and RStudio pre-installed.

Registration is free and open to all University of Waterloo faculty, staff, and students (both graduate and undergraduate). No prior programming experience is required.
