Osteoarthritis at hip is common in elederly population and can lead to mobility issues. Traditional hip replacement uses a complete hip implant that will result in removal of upper part of the femur. Hip surface replacement is a less invasive option where only the head of the femur is replaced. We are designing a new design of hip replacement and test it computationally and experimentally.
