Keith is a proud alum of the University of Waterloo, having graduated with an honours BA in 1984. After graduation, he attended the University of Toronto where he earned his LL.B. in 1988, before being called to the Bar of Ontario in 1989.
Keith has experience practicing law at a private firm where he specialized in estate planning and litigation. In 1996, he joined a major Canadian bank where he held several executive positions, eventually being named head of its trust company. In 2015 he joined CI GAM, Canada’s largest independent money manager, serving as vice-president and leading its tax, retirement and estate planning team.
Keith has more 34 years of experience in estate planning and litigation and in 2003 was awarded the designation of Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) by the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners.
In addition to his executive experience, Keith teaches law at both the undergraduate and graduate schools at Wilfrid Laurier University and is the chair of the United Way for Perth and Huron Counties, where he lives with his wife. Outside the office, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, two adult children, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
An investment advisor with more than twenty years of experience in the financial industry, Elizabeth Duranyik gains her inspiration from her clients’ goals.
Elizabeth takes the time to understand her clients’ objectives and financial blind spots to create a comprehensive financial and investment plan that meets their specific needs. She is renowned for genuinely caring about her clients, as well as her warm and approachable style, becoming a trusted partner in their financial journey.
A certified financial planner and graduate of the Canadian Securities Course and Wealth Manager Essentials course, Elizabeth draws on her education to provide sound advice and guidance in plain language, eliminating financial jargon and complex terms.
Away from work, Elizabeth loves being outdoors and enjoys kayaking, hiking and skiing with her family, including four active teenage boys and the family dog.
Karen Wilkinson (BA ’90 and MAcc ’90) is president of the Karen Wilkinson Professional Corporation. She was previously a tax partner with Deloitte LLP.
Karen's practice specializes in assisting private companies and their owners in maximizing wealth and transitioning businesses to the next generation.
Karen graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Accounting degree. Karen completed her Institute of Corporate Directors designation in 2018.
A long-time community volunteer, Karen currently serves as the past chair of United Way Waterloo Region and as treasurer at Orchestras Canada. She has previously served on the board of governors at the University of Waterloo, United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries, and the University of Waterloo Planned Giving Advisory Committee.
