Every year through the Keystone Campaign, our family of faculty, staff and retirees donate more than $1 million and volunteer countless hours of their time on campus and to support the University of Waterloo.
Its easy to give monthly by payroll or pension deduction. Your annual T4 statement will show the amount you gave and will be used to calculate your personal income tax.
We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out with our signature events and communications projects.
What is the Keystone Campaign?
The Keystone Campaign invites faculty, staff and retirees to make charitable gifts to the University of Waterloo. Each year, members of our campus community support a range of special projects and areas of interest in order to enrich education, research and student life.
Why should employees give to Waterloo?
By giving to Waterloo, we demonstrate that we believe in the value of our work — developing future leaders, producing important research and supporting our community partners. We also inspire others to consider how they might make a difference at our University.
What will my gift support?
You can direct your gift to an area that’s meaningful to you. Support a faculty, special project, research, scholarships or student services, or give to the University’s highest priority. We can help you find the right fit for your charitable goals.
How can I make my gift?
You can make your gift by cheque, by credit card or by payroll or pension deduction.
Will my gift qualify as a charitable donation?
Yes. If you make a gift by payroll or pension deduction, your T4 statement will show the amount you contributed and will be used to calculate your personal income tax. If you choose to make your gift by cheque or credit card, you will receive a tax receipt.
