Some other TMTC activities will likely continue under the leadership of other institutions. There will be final virtual event in Fall 2023. New Publication on Mennonite Political Theology

A recent special issue of the journal Political Theology, guest-edited by TMTC associate Maxwell Kennel, showcases interdisciplinary approaches to political theology in and around the Mennonite tradition.

The issue includes an introduction that situates the essays in relation to both political theology and Mennonite studies, and four essays that cover Mennonite-feminist, queer and literary, and historical and theological approaches to Mennonite political theology.

The 2021 TMTC Public Lecture took place virtually on Wednesday, 24 March 2021. Dr. Chris Huebner, Associate Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Canadian Mennonite University, presented a lecture entitled "Absent Fathers, Invisible Mothers, and the Irrepressible Dance of Love: A Reading of the Theological Virtues as Epistemological Virtues."  A response was provided by Dr. Néstor Medina, Assistant Professor of Religious Ethics and Culture at Emmanuel College.
