TMTC Graduate Conference Keynote Recordings

Thursday, July 8, 2021

The Ninth Biennial Graduate Student Conference hosted by the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre took place virtually from June 17-19 2021.

The conference explored the theme of Hope, Despair, Lament. The primary purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for graduate students who work on Anabaptist/Mennonite related topics and/or who identify with Anabaptist/Mennonite traditions to present their ongoing academic research in an interdisciplinary context and engage with each other as colleagues and peers. We were thrilled to welcome over 50 participants from 8 different countries over the course of the conference - connecting in conference sessions and other virtual gatheings.

The keynote lecture with Dr. David Evans entitled “American History Never Was American to Me” and the Hymn Festival led by Dr. Sarah Johnson are now available to view online.
