Marco Moran-Ledesma is a PhD student pursuing a degree in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of professor Mark Hancock, an expert in human-computer interaction, and Oliver Schneider, an expert in haptics. Marco’s focus is primarily on incorporating haptics into Virtual Reality experiences with 3D physical props. Marco holds a BS in Mechatronics Engineering (2015) and a postgraduate diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology (2017). His friend Tony Romo taught him a simple way to become the best version of himself: “learn from the past, build on what works, change what doesn’t”.
