Mark Hancock, Director
Mark Hancock is the director of the Touchlab. He is a professor in the Department of Management Sciences in the Faculty of Engineering and the associate director of the Games Institute at the University of Waterloo. He is also cross-appointed in both the Cheriton School of Computer Science and the Department of Systems Design Engineering.

The Touchlab is located in CPH 3641 and 3643, on the main University of Waterloo campus. It is also closely tied to the Games Institute on campus, which is located in East Campus One (EC1). Many of the Touchlab members are located here.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
