Alan MacEachern

Professor MacEachern teaches and researches Canadian history, with an emphasis on environmental and climate history at Western University.

Dr. MacEachern's talk draws from his recent book, Becoming Green Gables : The Diary of Myrtle Webb and Her Famous Farmhouse where he used the diary to tell the Webb family's story and that of Green Gables.

Location (in-person): Archival and Special Collections at McLaughlin Library, University of Guelph, hosts this presentation in the Whitelaw Room 246B. The library is also currently hosting a small display of Green Gables-related materials on its first floor.
