Ryan Séguin is a historian and theologian whose work bridges the humanities and modern theology. He holds a BA in History from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MA in Theology from Martin Luther University College, where he also studied Latin. His interdisciplinary background integrates historical inquiry, literary analysis, and modern Catholic thought, particularly in the tradition of participation theology. Ryan’s current research interrogates poetic theology through a mythopoeic lens, exploring how imagination, language, and belief intersect across the Western intellectual tradition. Drawing on figures such as Augustine, Dante, and Charles Taylor, his work examines how theology continues to find creative expression through art, philosophy, and story.
