Sara has worked in fundraising and historical research consulting and volunteers on the ActiveHistory.ca editorial collective. Along with co-authors Catherine Carstairs and Bethany Philpott, Sara published Be Wise! Be Healthy! Morality and Citizenship in Canadian Public Health Campaigns in 2018. She has also published on tobacco, sex education, and cookbooks. After working with First Nations and Métis clients for over six years at Know History Inc., Sara began a PhD to research Indigenous health under settler colonialism. Sara is a recipient of the SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship (2024-2027).
