The Centre for Information Integrity and Information Systems Assurance at the University of Waterloo (UWCISA) will be holding its 13th biennial symposium. Our symposia are recognized for the extensive interaction between practitioners and academics. Papers and panels from academe and practice will address risks, controls and assurance issues.

The purpose of this workshop is to cover the AICPA’s proposal for a cybersecurity examination engagement that will serve as the foundation for a profession-wide approach for reporting on an entity’s cybersecurity risk management program.

The University of Waterloo Centre for Accounting Ethics in partnership with the University of Waterloo Centre for Information Integrity and Information Systems Assurance (UW CISA), CPA Canada and the Journal for Business Ethics is is pleased to announce its 4th biennial Symposium to be held in Toronto, Canada on the theme The Impact of Technology on Ethics, Professionalism and Judgement in Accounting.

The aims of this workshop will be to highlight the use of both simple and complex text analytics approaches for addressing a variety of issues of interest to workshop participants.
