In this workshop, participants will learn how to use Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis. Given the rise of big data and the establishment of data warehouses across organizations, SQL is an important programming language to learn how to extract, load and transform data.
In this hands-on workshop, we will be using Google BigQuery, a cloud-based data warehouse, which requires a Gmail account for access.
Prerequisites:
- A Gmail / email account (it must be Gmail) where Edbert can invite participants to the Google BigQuery environment accessible through their web browser
- A stable Internet connection
