Roy Brouwer

Roy is a professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo. He is also the Executive Director of the University’s Water Institute. He holds the University of Waterloo Research Chair in Water Resource Economics. He teaches the course Water Resource Economics at the University of Waterloo in the Department of Economics. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Elsevier journal Water Resources and Economics.

Jorege

Jorge is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Economics. He obtained his PhD degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Jorge works in the Global Water Futures projects IMPC and Lake Futures.

yichun huang

Yichun is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Economics. She obtained her PhD degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo. Yichun works in the Global Water Futures project Agricultural Water Futures.

Xington Ji

Xingtong is a PhD student in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo. She conducts her research in the project LEAP, focusing on the cost-effectiveness of best management practices in agricultural watersheds in Ontario and China.

Trang’s research focuses on the removal of plastics in the Great Lakes.

Khusro Mir

Khusro is a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo. He conducts his research in the project Payments for Wetlands Ecosystem Services in Urbanized Watersheds.

Ahmet Ozkardas

Ahmet is a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Economics. He obtained his PhD degree in Economics from the University of Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne in France. Ahmet works in the SSHRC-funded project Payments for Wetlands Ecosystem Services in Urbanized Watersheds.

Rute Pinto

Rute is a postdoctoral fellow in the Ecohydrology Research Group in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. She obtained her PhD degree in Biology with a specialization in Ecology from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Rute works in the Global Water Futures projects LF and VCWR.
