V2V Thematic Webinar Series

The V2V Global Partnership, led by Water Institute member Prateep Nayak, is launching the V2V Thematic Webinar Series featuring V2V Global Partnership members and small-scale fisheries experts from around the world. V2V Thematic Webinar Series is an initiative of the V2V Global Partnership to facilitate and generate high-level discussions on vulnerability and viability themes and topics within the context of small-scale fisheries.

There will be a total of twelve webinars presented in this series, each webinar will take place on the last Friday of every month through 2021. The V2V Thematic Webinar Series will be available internationally as it will be streamed live on YouTube. Details regarding the monthly webinars including speakers, exact topic and title, and links to webinar platforms will be distributed closer to each date.

The inaugural webinar for this series by Dr. Rashid Sumaila

The title of his talk is "Trade in seafood and its impacts on the livelihoods and food security in developing countries."

It will take place on Friday, January 29th, 2021, from 3:00 PM UTC to 4:15 PM UTC (10:00 AM to 11:15 AM EST)
