Description: Publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals is an important part of disseminating and drawing attention to your research. Yet, writing for academic journals is not a trivial task, and it’s important to understand how you can increase your chances of getting published. In this webinar, you will hear directly from Water Institute faculty members who also have an editorial position with one or more peer-reviewed international journals. Attendees will get an introduction to the world of academic publishing, and learn more about the “do’s” and “don’ts” in manuscript preparation and submission to enhance the chance to get your work published.

  • Learn about the steps in the publication process
  • Ethics in publishing
  • Get tips for writing articles that are more likely to be published
  • Learn how to respond effectively to comments from reviewers
