Philippe Van Cappellen Named Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada

Philippe
Van
Cappellen,
Professor,
Earth
and
Environmental
Sciences
and
CERC
in
Ecohydrogeology,
has
been
elected
to
be
a
Fellow
of
the
Royal
Society
of
Canada
and
inducted
into
the
Academy
of
Science.
The
fellowship
of
the
RSC
consists
of
individuals
who
have
made
outstanding
contributions
in
the
arts,
the
humanities,
science,
and
Canadian
public
life.
Fellows
are
elected
by
their
peers
in
recognition
of
outstanding
scholarly,
scientific
and
artistic
achievement.
Dr.
Van
Cappellen
is
one
of
four
professors
from
the
University
of
Waterloo
who
will
be
inducted
to
the
Royal
Society
of
Canada
in
late
November.
