has
been
announced
that
three
Water
Institute
members
have
received
Insight
Development
grants
from
the
Social
Sciences
and
Humanities
Research
Council
(SSHRC)
from
the
February
2014
competition.
Rob de Loë, Professor, Environment and Resource Studies, has been awarded an Insight Grant for his proposed research: Rethinking water governance: towards a new agenda for research and practice.
Robert Case, Assistant Professor, Renison University College, has been awarded an Insight Development Grant for his proposed research: Exploring the impact of a ‘win’ on social movement organization: a comparative study of grassroots water activism in Hope, BC and Wellington County, Ontario.
Peter Johnson, Assistant Professor, Geography and Environmental Management, along with Pamela Robinson, Ryerson University and Renee Sieber, McGill University, have been awarded an Insight Development Grant for the proposed research: Establishing the value of open data.
