WaterLeadership is a professional development program offered by the Water Institute that helps students and faculty develop applied research impact skills to catalyze knowledge into action.

Curated, developed, and presented by our Knowledge Mobilization Specialist, Nancy Goucher, the training sessions cover a range of topics related to Knowledge Mobilization and leadership development. 

The forWater Network, a pan-Canadian collaboration of researchers and industry partners, gathered for their annual general meeting (AGM) to discuss research progress after the fourth year of working together. There was a lot to discuss. Over the course of two days, the Network shared 22 research presentations, 26 student posters, 5 interactive discussions, and one collaborative brainstorming session.

The Water Institute is excited to announce that James Craig, Canada Research Chair in Hydrologic Modelling and Analysis and professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has recently been elected president of the Canadian Society for Hydrologic Sciences (CSHS) for a two-year term starting this June.
