Phytobiomes Alliance is an international, nonprofit collaboration of industry, academic and governmental partners that aims to accelerate the sustainable production of food, feed and fiber. It was established to facilitate and coordinate efforts, both national and international, towards expanding phytobiome research. The Alliance supports research that:

explores the individual components and their interactions of agriculturally important phytobiomes,

integrates phytobiome system-based knowledge, resources, and tools,

promotes a systems level approach to production,

optimizes phytobiome-based site-appropriate solutions,

applies phytobiome-based solutions in next generation precision agriculture to sustain enhanced food, feed, and fiber production worldwide, and

educates and engages scientists and society.
MicrobiomeSupport Association was founded in November 2023 as a follow-up to the Horizon 2020 Coordination and Support project.
The Statutes and the Governance of the Association were established at the first Food System Microbiomes Conference in May 2024.
MicrobiomeSupport Association is dedicated to continuing the work that was done in the project (for more detail, see MicrobiomeSupport Legacy page) to ensure that the microbiome science manages the transition from R&D into the implementation phase and thus supports the transition to a future-proof food system ensuring food security, One Health and human well-being.
