Prof. Sheila Ager Accepts EAH Area Editor Position

The Department of Classical Studies is proud to announce that Prof. Sheila Ager has accepted the position of Area Editor, Hellenistic World, Encyclopedia of Ancient History (Wiley-Blackwell). In both print and on-line formats, the EAH is the definitive, modern reference work for the study of the ancient world. This is a wonderful recognition of Prof. Ager's noted expertise in Hellenistic history, as well as her editorial and leadership skills. As of Fall 2013. Prof. Ager will look to expand the encyclopedia's entries on all matters Hellenistic to make accessible information on the wonders of this time period to all. We congratulate and thank Prof. Ager for her scholarly service and look forward to the material that stems from this project.
