You are invited to attend the 2023 Women in Engineering Summit (WES) UWaterloo Watch Party on Friday, June 9th from 10:30AM to 6:00PM.

Choose to watch only the speakers that interest you or stay the whole day and network with your peers and P.Engs!

WES 2023 has an incredible line-up of speakers who will empower underrepresented communities of engineering professionals such as:

• Women, indigenous, and LGBTQIA2S+ by addressing unconscious bias, inclusion strategies, career planning, and mental wellbeing.

• Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs), who often must navigate a different culture and unwritten rules in the Canadian workplace.

Refreshments will be served. Please register here or use the QR code attached.

About WES & 30 by 30: The Women in Engineering Summit is an annual opportunity to create a space where experiences and practical solutions for staying in the profession from graduation until retirement could be shared. The 30 by 30 Initiative will help Canada achieve the key developmental target of having 30 percent of newly licensed engineers in Canada who identify as women.

The Round Table with WiE leaders is back! Join us at the Round Table with Ada Hurst and Kelly Scherr. The Round Table with WiE Leaders is a series of monthly roundtable discussions which provide networking and mentorship forum for graduate and undergraduate students. At the Round Table, we hope to connect you to WiE leaders in academia, industry, and government. Listen to their stories and be inspired to overcome and succeed.
