Join us in the first Round Table with WiE leaders of this Fall term! This event is a series of roundtable discussions which provide networking and mentorship forum for graduate and undergraduate students. At the Round Table, we hope to connect you to WiE leaders in academia, industry, and government. Listen to their stories and be inspired to overcome and succeed.

Following your interests and listening to your intuition to find a career that is right for you
Gillian Wilton, M.E.Sc.
Gillian is a double graduate of Western University where she received both her B.E.Sc. ('20) and M.E.Sc. ('22) in Civil and Environmental Engineering. During her undergrad, Gillian specialized in international development which gave her the opportunity to work abroad in Ghana contributing to wastewater treatment at a local sewage plant in Accra. Her graduate school research focused on sub-surface contamination through her thesis titled "Carbon Injection to Support In-Situ Smoldering Remediation" which is published in Remediation journal (Wiley publication). Since finishing her master’s degree, Gillian has transitioned to working in the consulting industry, initially in land development but has recently transitioned into a Water Resources role. Her current role focuses on urban water resources modelling to assist with master servicing plans, serviceability studies, and new developments.
