The BBQ will start at 11 am and will go until around 1 pm. You can pop in whenever you get a bit of time! This is a casual event so people will be coming in and out :)

Women of Impact is a celebration of women’s achievements in science and engineering. Based on in-person interviews, this collection profiles eighteen women who have made significant contributions to the fields of materials, metallurgy, and mining in Canada. Their compelling stories and impressive achievements reveal how women have defied stereotypes, pushed through barriers, and passionately engaged with their industry.
This workshop is designed to help engineering graduate students to develop networking skills essential for career development. It will contain an interactive session as well as information session.
The keynote speaker is Christine Kampen Robinson, Graduate Career Advisor, Centre for Career Action , University of Waterloo.
