General Electric (GE) Canada is influential in engaging and encouraging women to pursue engineering. Join Jennie An, Campus Programs Lead at GE, for an interactive and memorable workshop. Jennie graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Honours Business Administration. She is responsible for strategically aligning GE’s large co-op & internship program to the business’ greater initiatives. When she can travel, Jennie prefers to get off the beaten track - whether it be deep in the jungles of Thailand or lodging in a small village hut in Bolivia.

If you want me to speak for five minutes, give me a week to prepare…

If you want me to speak for half an hour, give me a day’s notice…

But if you want me to speak for an hour, I’m ready now

– Sir Winston Churchill

The art of effective communication is increasingly becoming a prized skill among employers and for some, can be more desirable than a perfect GPA.  This workshop is designed to help you sharpen your communication skills with the intent of influencing or informing your audience, and in turn, enhancing your Personal Brand.
