Applying to graduate and professional schools

We provide a range of support for undergraduate students who are applying for graduate or professional school.

One-to-one online or in-person appointments

Our writing advisors will work with you in one-to-one appointments to help you draft, structure or revise your statement of intent or application letter.

Check out our appointments page to learn more about our online and in-person appointments or visit our online booking system, WCOnline to book an appointment now.

Asynchronous workshop: Tri-agency scholarship research proposals

If you are applying for an OGS, CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC scholarship to fund your graduate studies, you will be required to submit a research proposal as part of your application package. This workshop will introduce you to the research proposal as a genre, give you an opportunity to review what rhetorical strategies make proposals successful, and offer strategies for drafting and revising your own proposal.
