We provide a range of support for undergraduate students who are applying for graduate or professional school.

Workshops on how to write a graduate or professional school application

Join the Writing and Communication Centre and the Centre for Career Development for a 90-minute workshop that will cover what you need to know, including how to apply, how to write a strong application letter, and how to ask for reference letters. Asynchronous workshop: Tri-agency scholarship research proposals

If you are applying for an OGS, CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC scholarship to fund your graduate studies, you will be required to submit a research proposal as part of your application package. This workshop will introduce you to the research proposal as a genre, give you an opportunity to review what rhetorical strategies make proposals successful, and offer strategies for drafting and revising your own proposal.
