Did you know that the WCC offers support for GRADflix participants? Our Multimodal and Public Scholarship Program Developer, Elise Vist, works with participants in one-to-one appointments to support them in developing impactful videos that showcase their research. This year Elise had the pleasure of working with both the People’s Choice award winner, Maria Bernadette Bataglia, and 4th place winner, Mariam Gad on their award-winning videos.
The Writing and Communication Centre would like to congratulate all of the 2022 GRADflix participants and winners for their fantastic contributions to their disciplines. Participating in GRADflix teaches graduate students to use a digital narrative to explain complex ideas, and provides them with an opportunity to expand their network, broaden communication skills, gain exposure for their research, and win monetary prizes. We look forward to working with future GRADflix participants to showcase their brilliant research topics.
