One-to-one online or in-person appointments
Our writing advisors will work with you in one-to-one appointments to help you draft, structure or revise your research proposal for your scholarship application.

Asynchronous workshop: Writing a Competitive Graduate Research Proposal
If you are applying for a CGS-D or CGS-M (CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC) scholarship to fund your graduate studies, or even an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), you will be required to submit a research proposal as part of your application package. This workshop will introduce you to the research proposal as a genre, give you an opportunity to review what rhetorical strategies make proposals successful, and offer strategies for drafting and revising your own proposal.
