When will my winter 2024 OSAP funding issue?

Student Awards & Financial Aid will confirm your enrolment electronically with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. We start this process before the holiday break. Your OSAP funding will be applied to your student account and/or sent directly to you starting in early-January. This process will continue regularly throughout the term.

What can I do to make sure I get my funding at the start of the term?

1. Confirm that you are Fees Arranged, this process involves completing a Promissory Note (if you haven't paid your fees in full) to let Student Financial Services know you'll be using your OSAP to pay your fees. 
2. Upload all required OSAP documentation. Due to the large volume of new applications, allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
3. Complete a Promissory Note (if you haven't paid your fees in full) to let Student Financial Services know you'll be using your OSAP to pay your fees. 
4. Make sure your course load matches Quest. If it's different on your OSAP application, we won't confirm your enrolment until it matches, or until the end of January (whichever occurs first). Submit the OSAP Application Update Form to make a change to your OSAP application.

Remember: Your OSAP funding will be redirected to the University to pay your fees.
