Required Materials (not included in course fee): LSS Canadian First Aid Manual ; Cdn CPR-HCP manual Thanks to the partnership between the AHSUM Endowment Fund and the Department of Athletics, you are able to take this course at a significantly reduced rate, during the timing that works for your program.

Come join us for a Night in Paris at the Kitchener Waterloo Delta hotel for dinner, dancing, and good times. Tickets are $50 per person and cover entry and dinner to the event.

Tickets will be sold from March 11th to April 5th in the BMH foyer from 11:30am - 3:30pm

Come on out to the BMH Lounge on November 1st between 6-8pm and play some board games provided by AHSUM! Costumes are welcome (for those who can't have enough of Halloween) and there's FREE FOOD for all!

Looking to sing your heart out? Say no further with AHSUM's Karaoke night at Chainsaw this Tuesday November 5th! We will meet at 9:30pm, and only students aged 19 and older can attend!

Never underestimate the power of volunteer experiences! If you have significant volunteer experience, attend the "Marketing Volunteer Experiences" workshop to learn how to market your volunteer work effectively and professionally to prospective employers throughout your résumé and during interviews. 

Attention: First-year AHS students 

Are you tired of trying new time management strategies at the beginning of the semester, just to find by week three you have fallen back into your old habits? You are in luck, this workshop is for you.

Do you find yourself panicking the night before an exam? Do you find that forget everything you have studied when you start an exam? This workshop can help you establish a good test taking routine and reduce your test anxiety. We will also discuss how to create a final review and how to cram effectively.

Take a minute to think about your midterms and how you feel they went for you. Did you perform well? Is there room for improvement? This workshop will help you identify what you did well and how to improve some of your strategies in order to better prepare for exams.
