The VP Internal acts as the second-in-command of the ASU, and is the primary liaison between the executives and subsocieties. Under the advisement of the President, they oversee all policies and procedures pertaining to the ASU, including elections and existing subsocieties.
The VP Internal assumes the powers and duties of the President in their absence.
Hi everyone! My name is Raj Dosanjh and I'm your VP Internal for the year! I'm a bit of a chameleon so I'm always free to gab about basketball, cooking, board games, literature (check out my Goodreads), and ESPECIALLY reality tv. Strange enough I got involved in university level student governance through my co-ops at WUSA and I'm beyond excited to be on the other side doing the "student governing"!
First and foremost, regardless of my position, my goal is to make student governance more accessible so please feel free to chat with me about anything of the sorts. Now within my role, I want to make sure that our subsocieties feel connected and aligned to the core ASU and Arts Faculty. While Arts may be a mosaic I think it's fair to say that we can all get lost in our respective specialties; however the beauty of Arts is when we have the spaces to connect and blend our nuances. Now Rome wasn't built in a day but I hope I can at least put down a stepping stone or two to bring us all closer!
