The president role is the main representative of ASU, leads the executives throughout each term as a backbone, and acts as a liaison with WUSA, all University departments, organizations, and governing bodies. 

The president is responsible for day-to-day operations in the office, which includes behind-the-scenes administrative duties. Although the president doesn't regularly connect directly with students and subsocieties, rest assured that progress is being made within the ASU!

Vice President Academic

The VP Academic is an academic advocate for the students of the Arts Student Union. They liaise with WUSA, the Faculty of Arts, and the University. The VP Academic also serves as the policy advocate for all ASU students, so if a student is facing a university policy issue, such as plagiarism accusation or an issue with a professor, and they do not feel comfortable pursuing it on their own, the VP Academic is there to advocate for them.

Anita Poletek

Vice President Retail

The VP Retail operates the activities that pertain to the Tuck Shop in AL 120. This involves getting inventory, managing the Tuck Shop volunteers, marketing and shop initiatives, and related duties. They are also in charge of the ASU Poster System for AL, HH, PAS, and ML. For inquiries about the posters, please refer to the Poster Information page.
