Poster Information

Poster Policy

The Arts Student Union (ASU) has a simple but strict policy regarding the placement of posters in arts buildings. In order for a poster to be placed on an ASU poster board it must signed by an ASU Executive at the Tuck Shop (AL 120) or receive approval through the poster approval form.

Poster Policy

Don't touch other posters

Unless they are your posters, you must not touch or move other posters or you will be contacts and the poster moved.

Do UW students care?

Posters must be for a WUSA-registered club or promoting events/initiatives that target UW students!

Your poster is your responsibility

You must be the one to put up and remove your posters after your event has passed. If posters are left up, we reserve the right to deny the use our boards in the future.

Where can you put up your posters?

You can put up your posters on any ORANGE bulletin boards in:

  • Arts Lecture Hall (AL)
  • Modern Languages (ML)
  • Hagey Hall (HH)
  • Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology (PAS)

Poster Approval Request

Do you want a poster approved? No worries!

Head over to AL120 and politely ask an ASU executive to sign your poster! If we aren't available, feel free to fill out this Poster Approval Request Form online!

Once you have filled out this form, we will send your poster back with the ASU seal on it, which you can then print and put up in the Arts buildings. If you haven't received a reply in 2 business days, feel free to email vpretail.asu@uwaterloo.ca to follow up.
