The VP Social is responsible for the organization of any and all major social activities for the ASU, making sure each event runs smoothly and everyone involved has a great time!
Sophia is a second year Honours Arbus student majoring in Legal Studies. Sophia oversees and handles the organization and implementation of student events put on by the ASU or any collaborations. This includes brainstorming event ideas, vendor meetings, booking and organizing spaces, promotion, and ensuring all events run smoothly. Sophia also heads the Events Committee which is a body of arts students that volunteer at events as well as assist with any other event activities.
In her free time Sophia enjoys watching horror movies and tv shows specifically throwback slasher movies, her favs are Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Haunting of Hill House. She also enjoys reading fictional thriller or mystery books in her free time, and even has a growing goodreads account. Her favourite place off campus is Menchines and Sweet Lou’s Cookies.
